INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Northern Road Surgery

We consider ourselves to be a friendly practice and hope that our association with you will be a happy one.

The practice has been on the present site for some years, having previously been in Cosham High Street.
Consequently, many of our patients have been with us since birth.

We pride ourselves on this fact and hope that you will find us welcoming and helpful at all times.

At all times you can be assured of courtesy, respect and confidentiality.

In return we expect courtesy from yourselves towards the staff.

With regard to threatening or abusive behaviour, we hold to a policy of zero tolerance.

Should you wish to make any suggestions or indeed raise a complaint please do so in writing to the practice manager.

We are a Personal Medical Services Practice operating as an independent contractor to the Portsmouth City Primary Care Trust. The Trust can be contacted at:

Staffing:

We are sorry to announce that our Practice Manager, Jennie Dock, will be leaving in March. We are currently recruting for a new Practice Manager - the application pack can be found on the "job vacancies" page - the link is at the top of this page.

Online prescriptions and appointment booking:

Did you know you can now make appointments and order repeat prescriptions through our website? To register, please ask reception for a form for "Emis Access".

 

Extended hours surgery:

We are now open on alternate Saturday mornings for routine appointments with a doctor. Please make an appointment with reception. We will not be open for collection of prescriptions.

We will be closed on the following Wednesdays from 1pm for staff training-
