Sister Charley Foster is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience. She joined the practice in 2007 from another local practice. She has a special interest in chronic diseases, including asthma, diabetes and coronary heart disease. She has completed a BSc degree with the Open University. She used to work for a vet before becoming a nurse!

Sister Allyson Kear qualified as an SEN in 1977 whilst converted to an RGN in 1997. Prior to becoming a Practice Nurse in 2004, she worked in the Day Surgery Unit and Pain Clinic at QA Hospital. Most recently she had been working with the RAF in Cyprus.

Our nurses are employed as part of the team in order to help you with a variety of advice and treatrnents. They have knowledge and skills which balance those of the doctors. Part of their time is spent in planned clinics, where they can give you their undivided attention. They can perform assessments and give detailed advice on aspects of your health not usually covered in your consultations with the doctor (who will continue to see you regarding your general progress and treatment).

District Nurse Team - Based in Cosham Park House (023 9221 9888), the doctors meet regularly with the district nurses to discuss patient care.

Our Health Visitor is based at Cosham Park House, and can be contacted on (023) 9221 9888.

The Community Midwife, who is attached to the surgery is Debbie Hill. Debbie holds an antenatal clinic here at the surgery on Friday mornings. At all other times she can be contacted on 023 9286 6563.

We also have an In-House Counsellor, David Rash, who sees patients from the surgery, following referral by their GP.

The Receptionists, Lucinda (Reception manager), Sandra, Sandra, Andrea, Angela, Richard and Lucy are employed and trained by us to help you. They have a very demanding job. At all times you can expect to be treated courteously. Any questions they ask will be at our request and any information given will be treated in strictest confidence.
