Opening Hours

The Surgery is open to the public from 8.00am until 12.30pm, then 1.30 pm until 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
At all times when the surgery is open you may make appointments, request repeat prescriptions and collect prescriptions/results of tests.

We also offer a surgery 9am to 12pm on Saturdays for those patients who find it difficult to get to the surgery during normal working hours. We will not be open during this time for booking of appointments, or collection of prescriptions.

Appointments with a GP are generally available between 9.00am and 11.00am, and 3.30pm and 6.00pm.

Appointments with the nurse are generally available varying hours between 8.30am - 12.30pm, and 2.00pm - 6.30pm.
Please note, these times may be subject to change at short notice.

One Wednesday afternoon each month, the surgery will be closed for staff training.

Please do not telephone before 11.00am for test results.
Please ensure that requests for Home Visits are made before 10.30am.

Out Of Hours

Out-of-hours cover is provided by Portsmouth City Primary Care Trust.

If you need a doctor urgently when the surgery is closed (ie evenings and weekends), telephone the surgery on 023 9237 3321.

Please remember to have a pen and paper ready as you will be given another telephone number to contact.
In the event of a life-threatening situation, please dial 999 for an ambulance.

Disabled Access

There is wheelchair access to all the ground floor rooms. There is no lift to the upstairs consulting room of Dr Moss, but if you mention to the receptionist that you are unable to manage the stairs, we will make every effort to accomodate you on the ground floor.

We have a hearing loop installed in reception for the hard of hearing.
